Action for the Needy in Ethiopia (ANE) opens a coordination office in Jijiga, capital city of Somali Region, on February 3, 2021 to address the needs of IDP’s in Somali region. Jijiga Branch office opened with an aim to undertake various Shelter and NFI projects in Fafan Zone of Somali Region and East and West Harari Zones of Oromia Region is the 9th coordination office. Liaison office has also been opened in Harari city to ease facilitation for East and West Harari Zone projects. This project was initiated with a continued partnership with UNHCR to support Shelter and NFI projects for IDP’s in the region.
ANE also have recently opened another new coordination office in Nekemte city to engage Shelter and WASH activities in partnership with UNHCR, UNOCHA-WV-ANE consortium. Aside from that Action for the Needy in Ethiopia have a well-established coordination offices in Mega, Bulehora, Gambella, Melkadida, Assosa, Negele, and Afar coordination offices.
